I see that the 14" Barreled Shotguns with a pistol grip are now Non NFA.
Shockwave and TAC-14 for example.

1. Are these legal in CT?

2. Can I convert my 870 that I already own to a model like this with a 14" barrel as long as it has the pistol grip only?

Thanks

Is there a way to change your registration status of your current shotgun to comply with the law for a 14" pistol grip firearm without changing it to a NFA weapon?

There is no such thing as registration. It has to do with how the Feds view it.

It is not a pistol grip and it is not a stock.
