Even though I don't see a repeal of the NFA I can hope. For the past almost 2 years I had hope that Trump would win. Although I never once gave up on him I had my moments where I thought he had finished himself. But.... he won! We won!
Now on to the NFA and Hughes amendment. As of 1/24/17 1:23pm EST https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/repeal-nfa Has 1,609 votes. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/repeal-1986-hughes-amendment Has 1,937 votes. We need a bunch more votes soon. |

And with that it all should die.
If the NFA is repealed, MG's are still restricted because of Hughes. And on top of that most states require a federal tax stamp to own/acquire a MG. So there is always the possibility of no longer even being able to transfer them if the NFA is repealed. |

Repeal of the Hughes amendment can still happen without an interweb petition.
Similarly the NFA isn't going to be abolished just because we petitioned the White House. |
