A minor update on the (former) Newtown teacher arrested for carrying a handgun in school.

A former Newtown, Connecticut, teacher accused of carrying a loaded pistol in school is asking a state judge to allow him into a probation progrm that could result in the charges being erased.

Jason Adams is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Tuesday for arguments on his application for accelerated rehabilitation.

The next court date is scheduled for 16 September 2016. It is safe to say that a decision has not been made yet as to whether he will be granted AR, or not. Most AR decisions (grant or deny) are made fairly promptly. My guess would be that one of the parties asked for a continuance.
