Seems to be quite a bit of interest to shoot and drink. I can't bring more then a few guys to my range so someone else will need to take over planning to have a group shoot .

Bikerman. Why not just pick a venue and date? if we do poll after poll and have too many choices this will never happen. Anytime I try to plan an event with several friends I just pick the date, time and place.

If its gonna be like that, just do it on the weekend before or after the ban took effect. And itll give plenty advance warning for guys to put it on their schedule
Its pretty much when most on here met, and we can just make it an anniversary thing. Like an annual fuck you malloy, but thanks for introducing all us crazy gun guys to each other. |

How about meeting at one of the casinos. I know several members enjoy a good card game. I'm at Foxwoods and up a few hundred bucks. Not bad for someone who only plays blackjack every five years or so.

~g I generally agree with you. I don't gamble, I don't even buy lottery tickets. About every 5-6 years, I end up at a casino for whatever reason and I will play a little blackjack. I do like a good card game, setback, hearts, gin, or cribbage. I was here at Foxwoods several months ago for a concert and didn't gamble. I'm taking a cruise this spring and probably won't go in the casino. Like you said, I've got better things to waist my money on. Mike |

I love/hate the casino. It's a lot of fun with the right people.
Gambling can be fun, too. Unless you're not doing good, then it sucks. But if you're doing it with the right people, even losing is fun. Blackjack is my casino game. Poker is fun with friends. |

i was playing blackjack and was down a few bills, i had a guy next to me up 10-15 k. he was in sweat pants and looked like a bum
he put down 2k in chips and was delt an ace, he hit, then got delt another ace, so he split and dropped the same bet on the other card. he then hit a jack and a queen on both bets. fucking split and 21 on both hands. i left after that

I only take $300, usually spend my whole time floating around even, end up making or losing ~$100. It was just my night that time, I'm not kidding when I say I couldn't miss. I was matching the dealer like every third hand, blackjack every other hand etc. I too work hard for my money and only bet $10-20 at a time. If I had been a "pro" that night I'd have left with tens, if not hundreds of thousands probably. I was just a drunk kid having fun. |
