I signed up to this forum specifically to see if "Other" classified AIDS Cannons have been done already. Glad to see this will be a Ct. exclusive. When I finally get my funds together for a rifle, it will be a Freedom Shoppe purchased pre ban Uzi or an FM14 in 9mm should they survive Ct.'s BS beuracracy. Or just a regular ol' pre ban AR.
I'll just be sure to bring a change of clothes to change into after. Quoted:

In the case of an even number year (next legislative session) this is what the CGA website indicates: "In the even year session the General Assembly shall consider no business other than budgetary, revenue and financial matters, bills and resolutions raised by committees of the General Assembly and those matters certified in writing by the Speaker of the House of Representatives and President Pro Tempore of the Senate to be of an emergency nature." As such chances are probably low that they'll be able to pass more anti gun specific legislation other than those related to fees/taxes. |

On their facebook page they seem to be pretty confident that it will stick and they can start transferring them. Tons of people have commented saying they are coming down with a deposit. They say they are 3 weeks out from deposit to it being done

It's not like theres going to be a picture of it. How will the state know what features it has based off of the info on a dps-3c? Right. There is apparently pictures of it floating around. The state will get the stupid DPS-3-C form which will tell them the following; manufacturer, exact model, serial number, caliber/gauge, general description, barrel length, handgun/long gun/other, seller/transferor, purchaser/transferee. While DPS-3-C form nor the sales authorization call won't tell the state what evil features it has, if the police stop someone with this FM14 firearm and the police feels it violates the law then chances are good the state will go back to the paperwork and contact the seller to see if they sold a legal gun or if the buyer changed it after purchase. I'm sure actual FFL's can chime in but I assume the seller is on the hook to ensure the gun is legal to sell to the person who buy's it and its on the buyer to prove they didn't' change the design post purchase. The problem FFL's face, apparently, is the state won't officially tell them a new gun design is legal or illegal ahead of time so the FFL/seller doesn't know if the FM14 is legal at time of sale/transfer until its challenged in court after someone gets busted (for what ever reason) with one. So Freedom Shoppe is apparently testing (trolling if you will) the waters to see what happens by selling the gun they designed. |

So after they been lawyers, been to court, and have legal documents supporting that it does not violate the ATF laws AND current CT laws, they are testing the waters? I also recall reading about a run in with police at one time at their shop to see what was going on and they discussed what they had to and nothing bad happened. Yes I understand that cops have no legal say when it comes to something like this but it never caused an altercation which lead to court. I'm sure they wouldn't be selling this if it did violate laws in anyway. If so, he's looking at possible jail time and felony charges.

Ha. Dantsx No one that looks like that is ever at the freedom shoppe when I go there. Seriously It's just the mad scientist guy, and a bunch of m'ldaying neckbeards. Does he have an SOT? I need one to build my AOW Dildogun. I will call it THE TRHILLDO! Just one round of 38spcl. It's hard to hide a gun when I'm in my Dildoman superhero outfit because it's all tight n' shit. So a dildo gun strapped to my chin seems like a good choice. That way I can shoot whereever I am looking (provided I am not speaking at that moment). https://i.warosu.org/data/fa/img/0059/50/1365737172670.jpg http://i.imgur.com/EoEUi.gif https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BZd7CLXCAAAqGPq.jpg Just my own bro But If you get me drunk and rub my belly the right way, I might be down for a little docking action. |

The state is just stalling. If they had a leg to stand on they would have just said no go.
