I've had it at my FFL since the safe act. I wanted to keep it just in case I moved but that isn't happening so it's been sitting there. Haven't asked him to put it on consignment yet or advertise it on line.
I know quite a few LEOs were interested due to the set up and condition. It's in excellent shape, fired very little. |

If someone did want to do something like thread the barrel, they're not hard to find. They basically hold value and are priced as new ones because Ruger doesn't sell stripped 10/22 receivers. A used stripped receiver fetches around $100-120. Aftermarket receivers get up to a few hundred bucks. ETA: For context in this conversation, though, it being a PB makes no difference. |
