Wooster Mountain in Danbury has a Carbine Competition the 2nd and 4th Friday afternoon during the spring, summer and fall. Should be starting up in April. Usually 4pm until 7pm. Moving and shooting from multiple positions. for Info check out Wooster Mountain Carbine Competition on Facebook. I shot last year and had a blast.

Since we are talking about hearing all the shooting that goes on in wolcott...I was hiking the power lines behind my house yesterday and went down a few trails and ended up finding a big berm that somebody must have plowed up with tons of 12 gauge shells, 9mm, and .40 cal casings scattered all over the place...prly about a half mile from my house...maybe I'm overthinking building a spot on my property...I doubt the neighbors will care because apparently everyone's using these woods over here for target practice anyways...

Well, are there any events that i can seriously get in on? I am willing to pay fees for clubs or something. But most gun clubs i ask abou have a 1 year+ wait and are hundreds of dollars a year. I just want to shoot an have fun.

Well I continue to hear shots every day not far from my house in wolcott...like I said before I found a berm with some targets and a bunch of casings laying around in the woods about 1/4 to a 1/2 mile from my house so I think I'm gonna try to set something up over here...It looks to me like a lot of ppl come out to these woods to target practice so I don't think anyone will mind
