Serious question, in the near future I have a feeling I'll run into a Malloy supporter, if I do and get I to a political discussion I want to be able to name off anything generally positive he has done or helped get done.

The best way to win a debate is to rip their defense apart and use their into against them.  Then I'd go into everything else about why he is a poor life choice.

For Malloy's hard core supporters and for progressives, socialists in general they will find quite a bit to like about Malloy and will "feel" that Malloy has done many positive things.
From CT's version of Obamacare to the unconstitutional anti rights Sandy Hook anti gun laws.
They will like that unemployment has gone down recently, even though its due to so many dropping out of looking for work and the jobs that are available being low wage jobs.
They will see the biggest tax increase in this state's history as a plus. They'll think Malloy stuck it to the rich people. Never mind that all such tax increases do is drive out business, hurt the middle class and drive the actual tax payers out of the state.

Take a read through Malloy's press releases to see other "positive" things he's done. Its mostly bullshit and fluff that doesn't stand up to any rational or logical factual review but there are many things he's touted as positives in those press releases.

If you really want to hit home how bad Malloy is, ask his supporters if they are better off today then four years ago. Are they paying more in taxes than they were four years ago (include gas and sales taxes). Are the roads any better now than they were four years ago. Is the state budget/deficient any better now than it was four years ago.

For the die hard Malloy supporter they will drag you down to their level of complete ignorance of reality and beat you with that ignorance. No matter what you say they will declare that Malloy is the best candidate based solely on their "feelings".

De-criminalization of Marijuana?  I always thought arresting people for small amounts was stupid.

When I asked the question to people I have gotten:
He handles the super storm power outages well.
He is improving our economy.
He helped with universal health care in our state.
Go figure

Malloy has nothing good that I can think of.... seriously.

As for the heavy snow in October storm (when was that 2011?), and storm Sandy what did that grandstanding turd do?  One storm I was without power for 5 days, and another 3 or 4 days.  Luckily I have two generators (one serves as a backup) and typically have a few weeks food available.  However, people without any planning or people who live in apartments that don't allow generators were screwed.  What the hell did Malloy do other than whip his dick around on TV and pat himself on the back?

So there really isn't anything that agreeably he has done that's positive?

I know the hardcore Malloy dick riders won't be swayed but I mean the middle ground people.

You could spin the 700 million dollar exclusive  busway to nowhere as "positive" for the Heroin trade between Hartford and New Britain. In the future it might also serve as a faster conduit for underage girls trapped in the sex slave industry.

Change we can believe in.

Yea the various responses are terrible and the people who said them clearly suffer from liberalismitus. I don't understand how intelligent people go to shit and can't get out of their own way when politics come into play. And that's why I consider liberalism a disease. It clearly is a malfunction of the brain.

The problem is that everything Malloy did that his minions believe are good are things we ourselves believe are bad.  Passing dumbass gun bans, forcing common core onto teachers and students, giving illegal aliens drivers licenses, forcing healthcare workers who don't want to be unionized into unions, and other things that mostly appeal to the socialist mindset.  The rest of it is nothing but propaganda that only ninnies and servile Democrat loyalists will believe;

-giving us a "surplus" made up of heavy borrowing and putting off paying debts until after the election,
-raising the minimum wage to $10.10 with the costs being passed onto the consumer and making the cost of living here even more expensive,
-claiming we're creating new jobs which is really falsely taking the credit for businesses creating new jobs
-the drop in unemployment which is really people's unemployment benefits running out.
-The crime rate in Ct dropping which is actually the crime rate of the entire nation dropping
-Foley is "bad for Connecticut" based upon idiotic things that make no logical sense to base a decision on, like Foley simply being Republican

...and so on.  I simply cannot see Malloy supporters as being anything but socialists, ninnies who believe anything they are told, and servile Democrat loyalists.  Rationally trying to discuss anything with them is like rationally trying to discuss the theory of evolution to the pope.  You're running up against faith based logic, and when has facts or the truth ever been able to counter that?
