My wife works at Yale. Can she confirm what the prior poster stated. A guy I work with said he has someone there and said they won't know for another day? I dont think they can go public until the CDC has its own independent confirmation. You know, the exact same test that Yale did but done by the special doctors at the CDC. |

I'm assuming the same just by what I've read in the news . My wife couldn't say anything to me or anyone else if she knew what was going anyways. Laws |

Just another reason to avoid New Haven and 95.......... But has everyone around you over the past two weeks done the same? This virus can live on surfaces for multiple hours from what I hear. All it would take is someone to come in contact with an article the infected person has touched and BOOM that's it, you gots de ebola. Days if not weeks And not just touched.......Ebola patients turn into walking shitgeysers. Fucking Ebola everywhere. This is a shit tornado of Malthusian proportions That is hillarious...... I am sorry that I am laughing..... I was in New Haven last Saturday at Union Station and took the MTA into New York and Grand Central Station. Took the tube to the 911 Memorial then back on a flight to Phoenix on Monday via Charlotte, NC. I am not saying this to freak anyone out but I don't think I am unique in how mobile I or any other American can be......... Obviously, this stuff can jump around very easily......... |

I drove to New Haven on Monday and had lunch with Gary Johnson, the Libertarian presidential candidate from the last two years.
He had driven up from New York City and was heading out to Vegas the following morning. Sat right across from him at a little table at Anna Liffey's. Sat there for a couple hours, talked, ate, drank and then drove home. So yeah... Anything could happen. And yes... It's the public actions and the aftereffects that we have to worry about. How crazy are your neighbors? That's what you need to ask yourself. |

EchoSIx posted the scariest thing I've heard in a while.....
Mid terms-CANCEL 2016 elections-CANCEL That shit is scary, but is part of the aftermath. The timing is perfect(a perfect storm) and our dear leaders NEED to stay in office because they know exactly how to fix everything. |

US Customs screening is usually done directly at the Canadian airports or origin before departure though. We used to have a regular flight to The Netherlands, but have stopped that, but I have heard we get it still infrequently via star alliance. Occasional charter flights up to B747 sized AC can go through the international terminal. But does it matter when Newark Liberty, JFK, and Logan are considered "local" to many of us? |

A friend of mine just posted this on Facebook... "Guy here who's wife is a resident at YNH, said its a confirmed case of Ebola at the hospital." Apparently, the CDC has to do their own tests of the samples, in order to make it "official", but the hospital has done their own testing and it came up positive.
