[ARCHIVED THREAD] - NRA long gun instructors in Eastern CT?

Hi, I'm trying to get my long gun eligibility certificate but can't seem to find any NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course instructors in the eastern side of CT.

I've searched Google and most of the long gun instructors are to the northwest/west of the state. Closest one to me would be an hour drive to Bristol, CT or a 41 min drive to Exeter, RI as far as I know.

Any tips? I'm 19 and live in the New London County area.

Apparently, I've been misinformed.
I can take the NRA Basic Pistol Course to get my long gun eligibility certificate.

Just get your pistol permit and it takes care of all this nonsense.

Never mind about my previous post. I contacted DESPP SLFU and they said the pistol course does not satisfy the safety course requirement, only the NRA long gun or hunter safety course do.
