A buddy of mine picked up a Gen 2 G17 and G21 recently for around $420 each.The G17 was a local shop and the G21 was GB

Phoenix is selling Gen 2s for $325 plus shipping on gunbroker, buy it now. You would have to call them to find out the serial number info (they are usually good about giving out prefixes and such over the phone) if you wanted to check date of manufacture.
