Guys, serious question here....
Why the love for under folders ? All reports from serious shooters (and I use that term loosely), report that under folders suck! So my question is why does everyone want one? Is it the forbidden fruit? I get that and that's ok. A side folder is solid so I get that as well, what's the deal with the under folder? |

I've got multiples of both, I don't like underfolders. I have a handful of them because, Merica, but I much prefer shooting full stocked versions. I built a Romanian G kit on an AMD-65 flat with side folding stock, and also have an AMD-65 and they are fun but the wire folders suck for any type of serious shooting. I've got an AK105 Kit that just came in today that I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be using a polymer side folder or a triangle folder. To me, full stocked AKs just feel perfect, they fit me just right. |

I gotta say I was a little disappointed with your vid. I know it had Wife,it had the Mak 90,but I diddnt see any cheese on the table. I mean even a shaker of Parmesan or a bag of Velveta for a rifle rest would have been epic.

The one I ordered is pretty Tapco fuct. I assume that is why I got a fair deal on it. Nothing a little wood can't fix. Thankfully it is a straight back receiver.If anyone has a line on a stock let me know. Otherwise I'm going for the new Magpul triangle stock when it is released.
I should be getting my Mak later this week.

Grab the 2 piece IWD set(handguard and grip) for the MAK and put the magpul stock on it, problem solved! The tapco G2 trigger group is great, so if thats already in there leave it, and it counts towards 922R. |

If you're doing the magpul stock the Hogue rubber handguard would look pretty sweet. I know someone is selling one in the EE and he may be willing to give you a great price!
