Interesting update.

Robert Kraft, owner of the Patriots, secured a deal with prosecutors to have Hernandez released on an appeal bond pending the appeal of his murder conviction.  Hernandez was told of this after his acquittal on the double homicide charges this week.  His agent later told him that he was immediately traded to the Cleveland Browns.  15 minutes later, Hernandez was found dead in his cell.

He was seeking an appeal on the Odin Lloyd murder, but I don't think that's what his lawyer meant when he told him to "hang in there".

Almost forgot what the Easter bunny brought me.  Yes, the Easter bunny is quite real.

Pre-ban 906A1 AUG.  Black, 16" barrel.  The last of the A1s made and imported before the ban.  I registered the few AUG mags I had plus this positively useless but quite rare AUG beta mag.  Makes a nice display stand though.  I was going to pin some 30rd mags but Steyr makes 10rd mags so I'll get some of those.

Very cool, I like them both! The AUG a little more though...

Can you even get a good grip on that thing with the nut sack mag?

I love my AUG-
Only thing I do not care for is the mag release. I have 2 barrels and spare rail.

This is the man you will need when you want any part

You seem to like similar firearms, I would highly recommend the Aug. I had always wanted one since I first saw one in the early eighties. It was an itch that I had to scratch

The holy grail in the aug world is the bipod and the LMG barrel. The aug is super accurate due to a true hammer forged barrel - most ar barrels are button rifled rather than hammer forged.

Awesome pic..  Is yours a DLO gun?  Mine is and currently set up for 8mm Mauser which shows you the last time I shot it.  8mm was nearly free back then and the targets never knew the difference.  Have a .308 set up in addition to the .30-06.  Set up for cloth belts.  Only change I wanted was a set of spade grips instead of the regular grip.  Amazing guns.

Angus filet mignon marinated in butcher block teriyaki sauce and cooked on high at 500* for 3 minutes per side twice to get cross marks. And some baked potato action.

This grill is awesome.

I read somewhere that beer can chicken is BS. It was on the basis that the internal temperature of the chicken cavity is insufficient for boiling the beer and in tern no steam. I wondered if you heat the beer can to boiling, would the direct heat from the exposed bottom of the can keep it going? I think doubtful given the heat would need to be way higher than roasting temps. I think you're better of with a brine if you want to drive flavor and moisture into the meat. Save the beer for the operator not the patient
