what area of the state? tons of good body shops around

Central CT.  My boss recommended A&R Auto in Wallingford. They did decent work on his Camaro.

Ultimate Autobody in Cheshire. He does all high end cars, collision only. His work is incredible. He has done work for the family and I send him anyone who wants their car to look as good or better than when it was new.

Edit: As a plus you can stop at the new Police tactical shop. Ultimate is across the street.

Dude. Been there done that... My top loader smelled like shit too, so, I took it apart and cleaned it. You would be shocked at what actually came out of that thing. I will try and post a video tomorrow.

ETA: but my top loader also came with the house so I'm not sure how old it is. I feel like that should not happen with a brand new front loader.

9 years old is brand new?

These days you are lucky to get 5-7 years out of an appliance.

Obviously I need the broken piece.
I'm going to get some new gaskets and might as well change-out the hydraulic dampers.
With the miracle of the Internet,  I can get it all shipped for just under $110.

I'll need some more beer to remember where all the pieces go

My Mercedes got totaled a couple weeks ago on the Merrit. Jackass was tailgating me and when people in front of me stepped on their brakes he was already in my back seat. Of course I had plenty of space in front of me because I'm not a tool.

What sucks is it was on the downhill right before the Milford exit after the bridge. I was not even a mile from getting off :(

Hope you're ok and your car gets better too!

Camel sorry to hear that. Remember it is only a car. You are ok and that is what matters.

Have to be careful with german cars and stop and go traffic. German cars have the best brakes. You will stop in a much shorter distance than the guy in some domestic or asian POS behind you.

That is the damn truth, both just material possessions, and the best brakes! I actually felt so uncomfortable driving the Corolla rental as they brakes felt completely alien, almost dangerous. Feedback and engagement was terrible, followed by full grab.

The 2017 WRX brake feel is almost identical to the MB, if not less "airy", but same weight, length, grab, and handling under heavy breaking. Poor but happy!

TLDR: <$0.30 per round PMC bronze .223 at Cabelas

Oct 27-30 Cabelas is giving $50 Cabelas Bucks if you spend $200 or more in store (or $20 for $150) and their PMC Bronze will be "on sale" for $7.19 per box of 20.

The sweet spot will be 560 rounds (28 boxes) bringing it up to $214.10 after tax.

Cabelas black gives me 5% back, and then subtract the additional $50, bringing it down to $153.39 for 560 rounds.

That's $0.27/round for Black Card members. Go get it!

I'm almost 100% it's .223, but I threw the flier away already. I'm pretty sure they're always stacked pretty deep on the .223 there.

I somehow missed this flier. I haven't seen .27 a round range for brass in years. I am going to have to stretch this paycheck. In before the panic lol.

Sometimes the Walmart prices are pretty good.  Problem is you have to go to Walmart.  Other than that, perfect.

In light of the CT sucks thread; it is also one of the most beautiful places in the world, in my honest opinion. . . . If only all these pesky liberals weren't around to ruin it for the rest of us.

Zeke and I outside taking in the first snowfall the other day. We love the snow, and while I love how awesome it looks falling on the leaves, my pucker factor was on the rise hoping it would stop before we had a repeat of 4-5 years ago.

I have a reoccurring day dream where this mini ice age finally comes to fruition, forcing all the liberals south, leaving only the few strong enough to prosper up here. All those left will bow to their new overlord, Zeke. Zeke would have only one law:

I am not expecting to lose as much going forward. Slow and steady is the key. If I lose 1-2 lbs. a week I will be ecstatic. I am just getting back to good eating habits. In 10 years I gained almost 65lbs because I ate what I wanted when I wanted. Before this I was always around 200lbs. So once I get back there I can have the occasional "good" stuff.
