I think now there better but overall I'm happy with the quality. Plus not a whole lot to choose from in the 80% 1911 frame department! |

Stainless steal guid rod.
Flat face aluminum trigger which does actually help keeping your pulls consistent and after a few range trips it smoothes out real nice. Actual sights which are pretty good you can do more then point and shoot now which is nice. |

I have a HF one, I used the bottle jack to lift and level my shed. Fucker is strong. |

Please don't tell me you got that to form freeze plugs.
Been careful of the cheaper brands. They can have a bit of slop and should be shimmed. You don't want 20+ tons slipping out due to large tolerances. |

Um ok .... Have at it then
And errbody knows you don't build an underfolder when building an ak.... But hey, have at it I suppose Dis is murica right |

Arnolds meats in East Longmead $1.59 a lb they sell them in big frozen blocks! I cured in brown sugar and local maple syrup along with traditional spices then cured for 7 days followed by smoking on Apple wood at 175 for about four hours.

The biggest pain though was drilling the hole for the cleaning rod through the lower handguard retainer. That really sucked! The easiest way to do this would be to remove the gas block and front sight base. Then remove the retainer, drill it, and reinstall everything. I also threaded the barrel. And I'm actually planning to replace the slant brakes on both of mine with the correct Chinese style muzzle nuts. Then I'll take some nicer pictures |

Just need to bore out the ID to AK spec. |

Yea maybe down the road that is a possibility, I've even heard the Bulgarian gas blocks fit as is, but that retainer is not a huge deal to me. If I had known this MAK needed the channel cut I probably would have picked up the gas block as well in preparation, and just done it also. I'm in no rush to go back and do it now I will say if anyone is planning to do a MAK that begins with 94 serial number, plan to do EVERYTHING. |
