Thanks! Its a 52' Harry Ferguson TO30, I picked it up for under a grand with a newer rear plow and obviously the bucket was part of the package.

After finding how useful the quad was around the property I needed something for the bigger jobs.

I love the damn thing definitely a fun, functional thing to have around. I finally dropped the rear end and replaced the rear drive shaft boot last weekend so no more issues with that. My kids love riding around on it and constantly ask me to take them out hahaha.

No excuse for no helmet.

Liberals do not need helmets. They are already brain damaged.

Besides, we need organ donors.

Of all of the things we have regulated in CT, I was always amazed there was not a helmet law.  I don't ride so I don't really care but one would think that even the "muh rights!" crew would know that 70% of bike injuries are to the head.  Anyway, no helmet looks cool.  Not as cool as all the machines in the ICU keeping you alive from the skull fracture you suffered in the bike v. car incident but pretty cool nonetheless.

Besides,  we certainly do need organ donors and they are a pretty steady supply.

I would say about 70% of todays riders had helmets on funny enough. Most of the no helmet guys were 50+ on  giant hogs. Many of the wives/gfs had helmets even if the guy did not. All of the 40 and under crew that I saw had some type of helmet, not necessarily full face, but something.

The guy that wrecked was out cold spilling blood from his left temple. I only saw one bike down and a pretty good sized skid mark so I am assuming it was a distraction then lock up and dump accident. I am sure it will be in tomorrow’s news.

I wore seat belts from the time I started driving in 1970 or so long before there were seat belt laws.  I wore a motorcycle helmet if I was off road.  I haven't ridden a motorcycle in decades.  I stopped riding bicycles a few years ago, because motorized transportation is so much more sensible.  I never wore a bicycle helmet and never will if I get on another bicycle.

Freedom has its rewards and consequences.  Connecticut is an authoritarian shit hole already.  Let's not willingly accept more regulations.  Lawyers have destroyed the spirit of this country.

Fuck helmet regulations!  Fuck seat belt regulations!  Fuck firearm regulations!

FREEDOM!

That was also my exact observation with who was wearing helmets. The trailing crew with flatbeds and ambulances also gave me a chuckle. Was the turnout less this year? I seem to remember it being longer watching it in Bridgeport 2 years ago. I thought it'd be huge today with the nice cool weather.

Lol no. I was near the front on an Agusta F4 in White Black and red. Our group had a FZ1, KTM Super Duke, S1000R, and two of the sportier Harleys but I dont know the models. There were probably 200 bikes in front of us, all firemen and cops, they let them out first.

The announcer estimated about 1400 bikes before we left the start point.

When Blumenthal got up to speak a majority of the crowd started walking away. I don't understand why they even invite Senators and Reps to speak. No one in the crowd wanted to hear from them.

NBC30 mentioned some motorcycle rider died during the "Freedom Ride".  Was that the same event?  If so the guy you are talking about died of a heart attack.

Time to mandate eating vegetables and fruit, and banning bacon?

I found this bench this in the middle of the CT state forest while scouting, out in the middle of Nowheresville. Just a very old logging trail nearby, a many many decades old trail. The top piece was at least 8 feet long and about a foot thick. I did some quick calculations when I got home and figured it's about 2400-2500 lbs. Some logger 50+ plus years ago probably made this while screwing around on his skidder.
