How many rounds do you guys shoot a year?

[#1]
Last year I went through about 4,000 rounds of 5.56. Just under a spam can of 7.62x54R and about 400 .45ACP.

So far this year we have shot 1200 rounds of 5.56, 300 rounds of 7.62x54R, 100 rounds of .45ACP and 20 rounds of .30-06.

I've never really kept track but I've always felt like it was too much and not enough.

I fill up roughly two five gallon homer-buckets with empty brass per year. Thats only shoot 5.56/.223, and 9mm (and some others if they're laying there). .22, probably 2000 rounds, and some shotgun but I throw the shells away.

I try to go every 2 or 3 weeks. I wish I could go more but ammo aint cheap.

I'd say I'm at around 1500 rounds this year.

Last year was bad.  Fun but bad.

-4500rds of 5.56 (600 of which was Mk 262 Mod 0)
-1500rds of .45
-500rds of 9mm
-1200rds of 7.62
-500rds of 175FGMM
-120rds of .338LM
-100rds of .408CT
-1000rds of .22LR

If I didn't get such a great deal on Federal ammo, I would have been screwed

This year just 200rds of 175FGMM so far.  Just concentrating on bolt actions this summer which will make it much cheaper...sort of....maybe.

Wow  I'm way behind most everybody. I'm averaging about 400 a month. I wish it was more convenient to shoot. I need to buy some property.

Not enough maintain pistol skills
Still working on shotgun
Rifle needs to be kept a decent pace but that's my best tool right now

I'd like to run 200 per month of  9,45 223/556.
Twice that for. 22 pistol and rifle combined
Half that for 12 ga

The weather and work have conspired to keep me from the range this year. I just became a member of the NWCSA and I am looking forward to shooting 2-3 times a month.

I just went to a club last week with one of my friends that has a membership.  It was my first time out this year.    If I could get into one of the clubs in my area, it would be great, because the club my friend belongs to (Norwich Fish and Game) doesn't have a rifle range.

I go about twice a week, sometimes more sometimes less. Mostly shotgun and handgun. Rifle just isn't fun anymore, at least around here as the ranges are < 200yds.

I haven't gone at all this year. Last year only a couple times. My wife has Breast cancer so our priorities changed.  She's a member at our towns fish & game club. It's tough to go on weekends because they rent the hall and ya can't shoot during events. I think I'm going to check out high rock.

Sorry to hear about your wife. I had cancer 8 yrs ago. I sure know how priorities change. Just be there and be supportive. That is what she needs now. Shooting will be there when she gets better.

Thank you she's doing great. Hope all is well with you also. Her last oncologist appointment she was told to see him again in 1 year all levels were good.

Prayers and positive thoughts for your wife.  Shooting can wait.

I have my cancer CT scan tomorrow morning.  Been free for 3 1/2 years.  Got to stay on top of that shit.  Cancer is a sneaky fucker.  I know she'll be fine.

I used to shoot about 10 thousand rounds a year but now I work too much to go a lot.  I used to go pretty much every weekend year round.  I have to fix this work thing and get back to shooting more.

I belong two 2 clubs, Bell City and Bristol fish and game. Either range is perfect.

Bell City is very close, but has shitty parking. Also too many people. Plus you tend to shoot into the sun which sucks. The good thing if there are no matches going on, it's open 24-7 (inside 22 only) or outside 10am to sunset.

Bristol Fish has a 5 round rule at the club (so in my latest movie of that Desert Eagle, I only load 5 in the pistol).  No visitors, plus a long walk from the parking lot, (150yrd walk or so). The ranges are nice however. People are mostly friendly (I try and shoot when it's quiet). You can shoot steel there or other toys like tennis balls hanging from stings.(Moving targets are fun to shoot). Shooting NRA only paper type targets get old in a hurry like at Bell City's rules.

If I have no work to do around the house, plus not too cold I tend to go out weekly. Maybe 1 hundred rounds per visit.  I limit my shooting because I clean them when I get home. Something which I don't always enjoy. Bolt guns or my T/C Contenders get shot much more for this reason.

If on vacation I have shot 500-600 rounds in a 2-3 hour session before. The brass begins to stack up when you do this. Sometimes I shoot a brick of 22's killing imagery aliens pressing themselves out of the sand berms..

At private ranges you can get away with more things if no one is there to police you....

Never enough lol I've never really counted but last year was by far the most. Built a couple guns that I had to break in and I took a Costa class. I was also going to the Bridgeport range every other week.

Typically

2000-2500 rounds of 9mm
10,000 - 12,000 rounds of .22LR
Maybe 300 rounds .223
100 rounds each of the soviet shit

I mainly practice 9mm handguns and I shoot a lot of .22

In the last twelve months:

9mm=20K
10mm=3-4K
.40=2K
.45=6-8K
.22 2K

Lots of pistol trigger time, hoping to balance this out a little with some .223/.300Blk/.308/x39!
