Are these legal in CT ? If so anyone have one ? Likes , dislikes , are they worth it ? Or is the FSC556 a better choice and why ?

Don't see why it wouldn't be legal here. It's a FSC556 that's been modified to accommodate certain suppressors. It also costs about $30 more than a FSC556, though.

I have seen them sold for 60 bucks plus shipping, that is why I asked before I made the jump on it

Honestly not impressed with the performance of my FSC556 relative to much cheaper products. It LOOKS great, it does work, and it's compatible with certain suppressors (non issue since I don't have a pre-ban lower anyway) but it doesn't work as well as my buddy's cheap aggressive front Yankee Hill comp. By cheap I simply mean less expensive.

I've also been unimpressed with the accuracy from the barrel that I have that comp on, which led me to do some reading about accuracy and that comp. Interestingly enough it gets so so reviews in that regard. I'm still getting acceptable accuracy, but from a BCM SS410 mid weight barrel I'd hope for better than 1.25MOA and other than very rare occasions I just can't make it happen regardless of the ammo. The best I've gotten for 10 shots was 1.1MOA and since even with the same load I can't repeat it I'm calling that one dumb luck. My other AR is surprisingly accurate (mp15orc, so no muzzle device) and can do 0.8MOA repeatedly when I do my part, so I know it's not my AR bench shooting abilities. I routinely switch lowers and optics between the two setups with no change.

Maybe a few of us just got unlucky, I don't know. But while I don't feel like I got ripped off I do feel like it was less than ideal and will not be buying another one or any of their similar products. There are other comps that do a better job and are suppressor compatible if that becomes a factor.

Pretty sure that those are only legal for preban only. If I remember correctly a flash hider has an opening larger than the barrel.

From there site :
The PWS SM556 is the multiple suppressor mount version of the FSC556

The Flash Suppressing Compensator (FSC) series of muzzle devices from PWS provides superior compensation characteristics combined with enough flash suppression to keep the flash out of your optics and line of sight. Designed for both competitive and tactical use, the FSC series allows for superior muzzle stabilization and aids the shooter in faster follow up shots and accuracy.

The unique port design of the FSC series yields muzzle control that meets or exceeds the performance of the best muzzle brakes on the market without the teeth rattling overpressure indicative of other brakes and compensators.

The FSC Series muzzle devices are the only compensators on the market backed by a money back guarantee. If you buy one, install it, shoot it and are not amazed by the performance, send it back and we will happily refund your purchase price.

All of the FSC Series muzzle devices have been classified as a non-flash suppressing device by the BATFE, thus removing any restriction from assault weapon ban states or provinces. See the BATFE document here.

FSC Series muzzle devices ship with the PWS Shim set, therefore additional mounting devices such as peel washers or crush washers are not required.

So if I am reading it right, it can go on post ban rifles. Yes or No

Yes. It has the prongs but before them is a flat section with a bullet diameter hole, which sets it as a comp rather than FH. If I remember right someone has gone to the effort of having the FSC model specifically approved by CT and I can't imagine that wouldn't cover a model with LESS flash hiding ability. So no problems with these in CT on post bans
