While the distance between the end of the stock and the pistol grip doesn't change, the "LOP" length-of-pull does. Proceed with caution. ETA caveat |

The LOP may change however it's not a folding or telescopic stock as listed here, http://www.jud.ct.gov/JI/criminal/glossary/assaultweapon.htm
The MagPul PRS also has an adjustable LOP and is on plenty of pre and post ban rifles. |

But it DOES have the ability to use multiple locations on a telescoping buffer tube, hence proceed with caution on a postban |

The state does not defer to ATF regulations. They can and will make it up upon their first test case... And they are going to fuck you up.
Pre-ban only, and that is only if you have to own such a POS.
Proceed with caution. |

Forget the whole idea. Save $300 and buy some ammo or range time.
Total waste in my ridiculously unimportant opinion. |

Its only "cool" in the sense that you will own one, preferably off paper, when the ATF finally gives it the kiss of death you'll have a pice of contraband. Then you can bury your awesome contraband in the back yard, pray for SHTF, dig it up, and take half your rifle apart to mount your slop-fire stock. That is if they don't treat it the same as pre-82 open bolt semis. At which point it only becomes a somewhat valuable shitty slop-fire stock. Or you can just get an AK-74, and bump fire the old fashioned way if thats your thing. The 74 with a tapco trigger works remarkably well in this role. Or build one from PVC like we saw at the NEHTF silencer shoot for $8, and not have to dick around with your pistol grip. The next stock that I will be buying will be a LMT SOPMOD. As far as their status now, I personally do not see a problem with them on a post-ban. It is a stock that fits very loose, and loose stocks are not illegal. Bottom line, if the cops show up for "someone shooting machine-guns", they might feel obligated to try to find something wrong, depending on how close they get to your firearms. Nobody is going to get locked up for 10 years for having a slide-fire. However, proceed with caution is worth repeating again. |
