If you end of needing to run a generator for an extended period of time, store your motor oil inside where it is warm so it will pour easy when you change it...
If its really cold it can get so thick it can be very difficult to pour...

If you use a syphon tube for fuel, keep it where its not too cold so they don't get too stiff and difficult to use....
