I had to make a trip to Wally World this afternoon to pick up some
needed supplies, one thing I needed was a new throttle assembly for my old Otasco push mower, the one I use to trim up after mowing with the tractor. So I go back to the area where they keep all the yard stuff, fertilizer, bug killer, hoses, and spare parts for lawn mowers, seasonal items they call it. It was completely filled with Christmas decorations of all kinds, October 5th for goodness sake!  |

Isn't that stupid? I was at a store the other day and there was Halloween stuff to the left and Christmas stuff on the right.

The corporate monster edges the Christmas "buying season" closer and closer. At some point the day after Christmas won't just be overruns on sale, it'll be the beginning of the first day of Christmas commercialism.

Ace (!) Hardware's got Christmas stuff out.
