Me and the wife are making a trip to The Pioneer Woman store in October. I have found a few other thing's in the area to do. But any advise would be awesome. Thanks!

Tall grass prairie reserve comes to mind, but I'm not sure how exciting it would be for you.

You could try Woolaroc. http://www.woolaroc.org/ It has a decent museum and is a nice place to have a picnic.
