Has anyone built a structure in Oklahoma County? I'm putting up a garage and I'm hearing conflicting things on whether a building permit is needed. When I go to the County website it says anything that is built needs one, which comes with fees, etc. Obviously they would say this if they just want to make money, but I find it hard to believe everyone in the county gets a permit for building something considering the annoyance and fees that it brings.

I think at long as the structure has an actual foundation, it will require a building permit.

This is why some people build decks using those concrete feet.
