Very interesting. I caught a salamander the other day in one of my glue traps, i really wanted to get him off of it without tearing him apart.
Now I know!

Good info to know.  We've caught a a few baby king snakes on glue traps.  Most of the time when found they had been in the glue a long time and unable to save by that time.

We used to catch mountain boomers (collared lizards) using the flat glue traps. The lizards would run into a rock pile and we would place the glue traps in various holes and wait a couple minutes. They would get stuck on the traps as they came back out to look for us and vegetable oil would get em right off the trap.

Any mice I catch in a glue trap go in a bucket of water...
