They interviewed the two ladies who owned it in the Daily Oklahoman, they blamed the big box chain stores, the real reason is they had no idea what they were doing.  After Fred died they dropped the inventory by at least half or more, you can't sell guns if you don't have them.

I just went there for blue label Glocks but I did notice the inventory was somewhat sparse and there was a lot of empty floor space. I'm sad to hear that they closed, they were always good to me.

I have personally bought a lot of guns from Outdoor America, I think there was one after Fred died but before the inventory was quite so depleted.  I had even bought one when it was Fred Baker Firearms, a bit further north in that tiny space in the strip shopping mall at 23rd and MacArthur.

This. My first gun came from Fred baker firearms, a ruger 10/22.

Of import rifles and machine guns.

I'll miss it in the generic "that's too bad, hate to see a gun guy go" way.
as far as impacting my shooting life, not so much.
