Nice one - I caught a copperhead a few weeks ago and the wife though I had lost my mind once she realized I was going for relocation instead of termination
I would try to donate it to one of the local colleges. I've donated several and they've always been more than willing to take them. |

Pretty snake! Release him if you can. I love reptiles, but would've killed him instantly if he were found at my house/shop. I had a dog get tagged in the face by one several years ago and it was fun. The dog survived, but only after a rush to the veterinarian. The poor girl had already laid down to die. Good luck either way!

Quick update: I took him home to show my wife as I wasn't sure if she knew what a pygmy rattlesnake actually looked like. He made a quick trip to work with me for the same reason and then was released over 10 miles away in an area where no one lives. I'm not a moonbat or tree hugger but once I had him captured and he wasn't a threat to me I didn't feel right killing him, rattlesnake or not.
