Will they carry it out to your vehicle when you buy it?
Maybe they just call the media to report that somebody is stockpiling ammo!

Personally, 40 cents per round isn't a good deal.

did a quick component search.
hightechammo: pulled & polished 62gr ss109 $250/3k (4 = $1k ) pulled down wc844 $85/jug (6 = $510, they pay hazmat fee if buying 4 or more) 5k cci 41 primers $130 (3 = $390) total = $1900 + approx $150 s&h 2500 once fired mix headstamp crimped primer grade 3 (unprocessed or cleaned) cases, brassmanbrass special $140 shipped (5 = $700) approx total cost to reload 12k rounds = $2750 (your going to have a bit over 4 lbs powder & 3k primers left over) so you could possibly load 24k rounds for the price of 12,500 "factory" rounds more if you go with the P&P m193 bullet; iirc they are $170/3k |

How long would it take to reload 12,500 rounds?? |

How long would it take to reload 12,500 rounds?? with my set up approx 12.5 hours to trim/size and figure about 400 rounds per/hour to load; so 40 to 45 hours give or take. course I'd stretch that out over the course of a month or two so it wouldn't be too bad. about 6 hours of bench time a week is about all I care to do; anymore than that just seems like work instead of a hobby. |

it takes me a hell of a lot less time to load them that it does for me to earn $5k extra money.
and it beats hell out of watching Stars Can't Dance or America's Got Rhythm. and using my own brass (and if you don't have druns full, it you're own fault) i can do .223 for $.14 a bang. of course i don't actually DO it as i lost all my guns in a boating accident, and IF i did load, it would be for the children. |
