Surprisingly there were folks on both upper and lower ranges. I hit the upper range, finally shot the new G19 I picked up. Had fun, was hot, came home, going to make enchiladas for llunch, thats it.

1shott, you are braver than me. I was tinking about heading down this morning to get a fix since it has been a couple weeks but for some reason I could not get myself together this morning. Does sound like you and some others got some good trigger time in.

And to pictures I figure the heat melted the cameras.

I just went to test drive the G19, shot 200 rounds thru it, got the ejection issue with brass hitting my head. Will replace the extractor myself.

That brass in the forehead does not feel good. I had one do that and the new Glock parts fixed it in a quick way. No more problems. Sometimes things are better left alone––Glock needs to listen to that.

I was under the impression that the ejector needed to be swapped for the brass in the face issue ..I have the same problem (Gen3 FDE Gen19 built a few months ago) but I'm trying to avoid sending it back to Glock ....If I can order the part and do it myself (or find a local armorer) it would be great
There, I said it...Don't tell me you weren't thinking the same thing!

I just want to go to the backyard, get a stick, and clean this thread off the bottom of my shoe....

Thats what some are saying, but a lot are also saying they had the new ejector installed and still have the same problem. I think its the new style extractor. If the LW does not fix it, then I am going to swap it out for the old style extractor and plunger. Its not a lot of money, so I dont think theres much to lose if it does not work.
I also dont want to send it back to glock, worse comes to worse, I sell it or trade it in.

it has to be one of those; because Goddamned nearly every fanboy of glock will tell you they never have issues.

FWIW I got a gen4 trigger housing from midway that came with the 30274 ejector a couple of days ago....I swapped the 336 ejector out of my Gen 3 Glock 19 and put in the new ejector...Kids go back to school this week and I should be able to sneak in a little range time to see if it gets better

Let us know how it works. I hope to get the G19 out to the range maybe Wednesday morning. Monday and Tuesday are going to be full. See how that Lone Wolf extractor runs.

OK I went out to Sgt. Everett's with the new ejector and shot a few mags.. I brought along some Blazer Brass and some winchester..I could tell a difference more with the ammo than anything. Blazer casings mostly landed on my right shoulder with a few still hitting my forehead. Out of 3 mags of Blazer Brass I'd say 2 landed on my head. With the 3 mags of winchester everything went clear of me and landed at the 4:00.

Overall the ejections did improve somewhat ..even with the Blazer

Hit Lexington again this morning, figured I wuld have the place to myself, not so, the upper range filled up fast and the lower range had folks on it.

The G19 did a lot better than last time out. Out of 8 mags, only had two hits to my body, one to my chest and the other on the forehead between my eyes. Used different ammo as well, federal FMJ and JHP. No failures of any kind and I did notice that the brass was thrown out away from the chamber rather than just floating around like the last trip. I was running the Lone Wolf Extractor this trip.

I think the Extractor is the problem on these glocks, Still not loving the thing but I figure it will make a decent truck gun.

Be sure to get some G18 mags for the zombies!
