Didn't know Glock did customizing.  What's the recoil like on the 10mm?  I've considered getting a G20 upper for my G21 but then I have no real use for a 10mm but then I don't really have a use for most of my guns so that's not a good excuse.  Being broke is though lol.

How does it compare with a factory Glock?

It's not customizing. It's "warranty" work. It was pretty well worn when I got it. They do free upgrades to all internals and for a small charge ($60) they do the barrel/slide refinish and for $57 they install factory night sights. The recoil is not uncomfortable at all.

This is before. The slide, barrel and slide release all showed significant wear. For $126 plus shipping to them ($30, return shipping was free) I have a practically new pistol that's still #s matching.

Anything Gen3 or older qualifies. I can email you the warranty form. Just PM an email addy.

DRT ammo is . You want a good yet affordable load? The Winchester Silvertip load in 10mm is actually quite a performer in the midpower 10mm category. I carried it in my Delta Elite for a while, manageable recoil, good accuracy, and respectable performance.

I agree, first off, that's a good looking AR.  The SKS is cool, I'm so mad at myself for not buying a couple when the prices were low.  I still want a couple Mosins but they are out of my range now also.  I'd still love to have an AK but I'm holding out for an all American made model that is as reliable as commie versions.

Now, on to the skull thing.  That is awesome.  Is it hydrodipped or something else?

Because you are new, I'll go easy on you.  House rules, or more just a general rule, is to include a little story about each pic.  You know, the pickle, what's the pickle? The scoop, the 411?

Thanks. I recently built the AR (my first). Noveske Gen 2 lower, BCM 16" upper with Centurion Rail, Noveske Raptor CH, Eotech 512. Taking this to the Pawnee Run N Gun next month. Have only shot it twice.

The Mossberg 500 and Savage Mark 2 22LR were custom painted by a friend of mine that is into air brushing.  He's talented man. All skulls and etc were done freehand.

You can see the Mossberg as he was painting it on his facebook site. Silver Wolf Studios in Tulsa. https://www.facebook.com/silverwolfair

Hey, quick question: does the newer Vortex still ping? I had one years ago and it drove me CRAZY, if I shot steel at less than 100 yards or so I couldn't tell if I hit  by sound because of the RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING from the FH. I've heard the newer ones are better about that.

Traded for it yesterday. Had to turn the suppressor 90 degrees to clear the guide rod. I've ordered a piston that will cure that. Shoots like a dream.

here's one rifles journey.

built in 2008 the FDE started flaking, and i noticed I'd wasted a pencil barrel,

so i jumped off the Magpul train and gave it a makeover.(and the crooked selector was eating at me)

never was happy with it, just put it away till now.

still have a couple Magpul mags  to accessorize.
