Holy shit dude may I please touch it? Have you ever shot it? Seriously when we have another shoot I sure would like to see it I am a bit of a WW2 historian

i wish i could show it to  Wyatt but i took it to a show last year and a dealer made me a ridiculous offer for it so i couldnt say no.  FISTer got to handle it that day.  i never shot it as the guns had a bad rep of parts breakage since most of them were rushed into service and built by slave labor. this rifle was marked QVE which was an actual german company that used payed labor.  what killed alot of the guns value was at one point the stock was sanded and the grip area reshaped. heres a few more picks i have of it and one next to my tiger rifle to show the size of the rifle.

Nice knife. I have been wanting one of those Tom Brown Tracker knives like they used in the movie the hunted but they are very much on the high side. I will probably end up with one sooner or later though.

I know everybody seems to hate the UTG rails, but I really like this one.  Solid as a rock, and cost about $65.  I have heard some people say the UTG rails are not in spec, but everything I have tried to put on it fits just fine.

Ok WOW man how did you come across a MP40 and the Broom handle Mauser?
Link Posted: 4/3/2009 7:38:03 PM EDT
[#50]
I found them in Alaska in the 1980s.  The Broomhandle is lots of fun.  Had to repair the firing pin a couple of years ago.  It's a 1916 Oberndorf red '9'.  The MP-40 is blank only but still one of my favorites.  Steve
