Born and raised in the Midwest, but I've been calling Virginia my home for over two decades.
I don't even have the heritage aspect to be mad about, but it still angers me to see the hatred of history displayed by the left.
Again, I'm not a Virginian by birth, but even I can see the symbol of independence, culture and history.
I'm honestly astounded by the last five years and the push to ban the Confederate Flag. To me, that's like Wisconsin being offended by being known for cheese, or Utah offended by people think they're only there for skiing.
Good for these guys.

The entire war was in line with American values, regardless of the outcome. Self governance.
Everyone knows the south lost; sadly, I fear most people think it was a war over slavery. It never was.
