Defensive Pistol I Class (8 hrs)


This is a full 8-hour training day
offering. Held within easy driving distance of Northern Virginia. This
class covers the defensive use of a full sized to compact sized pistol.
Students will improve their pistol handling skills with a strong emphasis
on the fundamentals. Students will learn self-diagnostic skills to
continue development of their own personal performance.

Location: 4H Range in Culpeper VA
off Rt 15 across from General Winder Road. Exact location to be provided
after registration.
Date: May 21st from 9:00 am to
6:00 pm
Cost: $235 (Includes Lunch and
Range Fee)

Gear Setup
Safety
Justification for Use of Force
Mind Set
Safety
Drawing
Combat Marksmanship
Reloads
Malfunctions
Shooting Drills
Qualification Course of Fire

Equipment Needed:
Serviceable semi-automatic pistol (9mm or larger caliber) and at least
three magazines
Quality belt with strong side holster and at least 1 magazine pouch
Be able to retain 2 magazines on your body
350 rounds of dependable ammunition. No steel core, no armor piercing, no
tracer.
Knee pads (optional, but recommended)
Water for hydration

Come on out to Culpeper and train. Support Cedar Mountain Youth 4H, $35 of every registration goes to support the youth shooting program. It is a great time. We will field fire out to 100 yards. Hope to see you there.

If you need to borrow some equipment, just let us know.

You should have a good zero on your rifle. We recommend 50/200 Yards. But as long as you know your zero, you will be good to go.

Looks like we are in for some weather. Bring your snorkle and flippers. Hopefully, it wont be that bad. Definitely bring your rain jacket though.
