I don't know what the deal is.  The benefits are outstanding, the pay is excellent, the hours are flexible...  I can only assume the people qualified for the job are already employed and not interested in moving along?

1.  It's in NoVA. The majority of people who escape NoVA typically don't want to go back up to that east-coast-version-of-LA-traffic nightmare.  Or the high cost of living.  Or the feeling you're in one huge hamster wheel.

2.  It sounds like DoD contract work, which has been really sketchy in the Sequestration Era.  If you get off the DoD contractor merry-go-round for something more solid/consistent it's a hard sell to get talked into getting back on.

1) I'm not looking to recruit someone that isn't already local.  And the job pays more than enough to compensate for the cost of living.

2) It is not DoD contract work.

3) I just hired an ARFCOM'er.  They can say hi if they like.
