Looking at a house in the area... have the oportunity to sign a contract... cant decide because of our commute costs... I work in chantilly, wife works in VA

I live in linden and have commuted to sterling, chantilly, and currently nokesville, so yeah.

What was your leave and arrival time?

Wife works in Manassas we could carpool,  but have decided to Stand down for now. Too many what ifs... And my daughter's specialists would be about 2 hrs away..... not good in an emergency

I live in Winchester and go all over. If I'm going to Chantilly I take 50E, leave at about 7:30 and get there at about 8:45. If I'm going to Gainesville I take 66 and take about 10 minutes off my drive time, if I'm going to Manassas I add about 15 minutes depending on which part of Manassas. If I intend to go past Manassas then I don't take 66 at all as it's a nightmare in the morning right after Manassas. If I were you I'd take 66 to Haymarket and use 15 to go over to Chantilly.
