I'm sure I zipped by there back in my Jeep'in days.  Enjoy the rain and muddy trails.

I've been twice with a Jeep club when I lived in Fredericksburg. It was a lot of fun, but I think the truly muddy parts are all closed now.

That would be a perfect spot for a HTF camping trip if we were allowed to shoot.

Hummers don't need a recovery box.

ETA: Right now 2 hummer H3s and 2 jeeps are going.

Definitely not as hard as I want to...
I have tried to get stuck, just hasn't happened yet. There have been a few times I thought I was stuck until I kicked the locker in. I was like , and then.

You might have some tight spots but overall I think you would be ok.

Mud wallows, to keep trails from being used as commuting routes.

We will probably be camping at Hone Quarry Campground Saturday then hitting the trails on Sunday morning. At  Hone Quarry they have a trail with a few small river crossings.

Didn't the land owner gate Shoe Creek trail this summer or fall? I heard the bulk of the trail is private land and he got tired of people leaving the trail.

I camped up there this past summer. A Jeeper came through and told me there were two new gates installed, one at each entrance to the private land. The gates were so new that they had t even been painted yet. Both gates were open though at that time.

Shoe Creek is closed. Jeep clubs and some locals ruined it for the rest of us by wheeling on the guy's private land.

Surprise surprise. Those assholes fuck it up for the rest of us. They can't be content to stay on the fucking worn trail.

I saw a group of locals in Cherokees ripping the trail closed signs out of the ground that the Rangers had put up. I told them it will be people like you who will ruin it for everyone. They just gave me a blank look.
