I apologize if this is a dupe but i searched and found nothing.  I think it would be a good idea to have this information easily available. There are some training centers out there that may be bad if not dangerous.  It would be nice to know which ones are trustworthy and worth while and which ones to avoid.

FPF Training.  After browsing their website it appears that they focus on defensive concealed carry courses, with different levels of training offered.  There is an information video in the "media" section of the website.

Arlington Fairfax IWLA runs NRA basic rifle, pistol, shotgun, personal protection inside the home, personal protection out side the home, and defensive pistol courses. As well as NRA instructor courses.

They also have the finest junior rifle shooting program in the country.

I wish I had something to add to it but I have only taken a basic ccw class at colonial shooting academy in Richmond.  I will do my best to keep the op updated with the info supplied by other members.

Yeah, only useful if up to date. Like the sticky for gun shops that still lists Shooter's Paradise...

If the sticky is created, I will be happy to list my company's offerings to the page.

Thanks for checking out my site.

I am currently configured 100% for concealed carry courses, but that may change in the future as I reevaluate the market and my business model.  Also note that I host some pretty big name instructors that offer first aid, shotgun and training for women.

See you on the range!

Alias Training does a lot of classes in southern Virginia with top tier instructors. Go to the website and search "South Hill".

Langdon Tactical

Ernest is one of the good guys in the shooting sports. He is headquartered out of NoVa, but teaches all over the country. His bio is up at his web site, and it really speaks for itself.

I highly recommend FPF training! If you carry everyday, this is the class that you should consider.
