Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Good alliance repair shop in Alexandria?

In-laws' dryer quit working. Went thru troubleshooting steps in diagram. Got it to start but not run. Indication of Heat Control Board faulty.
No longer made. Rebuilt can be ordered.
Any good/reliable place near alexandria to get such a part?

Carol was very nice, but the part's not in stock anywhere.
So, I went back downstairs and went thru the test procedure again. Control power checks good, wiggle the plug connected to the board, and this time it runs.
Let's see how long it works again.
