For those who may be heading into DC this morning (and apparently future mornings), the Fergadishu protestors have taken to shutting down I-395 and 14th Street.

What if (completely hypothetical) someone who was stopped close to them, such as one or two back, went up and hit a few with Mace Triple Action?  (BTW, it contains one of the most potent pepper spray, CS gas, and UV dye combo's sold)  And yes, it's legal.  I drive near that road and would be tempted.  But I'm home sick as a dog.  

They would disperse like a son of a bitch, of course, and there would be chaos.  I can't imagine any other driver getting pissed and stopping the people who were stopping the protesters.  Protesting = OK.  Violating my rights = Not OK.

Lets here from LEO's, if we've got any, since that would be interesting as I'm not sure there have been offensive uses of pepper spray from civilian to civilian in a protest.

I'd watch it happen, applaud the guy/girl, and proceed to work.  Probably classified as a misdemeanor battery in VA, but I'm not certain.  I'd bet a paycheck you could plead to disorderly conduct and get probation for a first time offender.

Needs more cattle catcher and accelerator.

Just need some leaflet dispensers - have chaff-dispenser like action, except load them with job applications.

I work in NW and left Friday night about 7:30, and thank God it was uneventful on my route out. There were a shitload of sirens, though (way more than the usual)
