Ordered some mystery boxes....
Stocking stuffers and blanket shoot prizes. My Mom always kept a couple of gifts wrapped up around Christmas, you know just in case. |

Way cool... Five of those coming my way.

QT: I got my invoice e-mail on 11/20 for my mystery boxes. Any idea when I will get the order or the e-mail with the tracking info?

Awesome offer on those mystery boxes, those would have been perfect to get for my team as presents.
Any plans to do anything similar to the mystery boxes again before the end of the year? |

Yep, disappointed. I called and they said the demand was way more than they had.
My own fault for ordering more than one I guess. At least MCX, CGX, and the other big supply house are local to me to get some good deals. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If QT made 100 boxes then the site should have only allowed 100 orders to be placed. I hope this is something they are looking at. |

If QT made 100 boxes then the site should have only allowed 100 orders to be placed. I hope this is something they are looking at. Hey guys....I have been meaning to stop in and comment on this...Other than my propensity to procrastinate, I have not excuse for doing this earlier. Here is the scoop. We had planned this for awhile. We accumulated stuff and thought it would be fun to offer them for $9.99/ea. We identified what we thought would be a relatively slow shipping week and figured we could make X amount of mystery boxes. The time arrived and we launched the promotion. We limited it to XXX number of orders (First mistake). We didn't count of people ordering 10+ of them at a time, so thought through our count off. No problem, we have lots of stuff. About the time we assembled the boxes, we had some large deliveries of Blackhawk holsters and Surefire lights which were for National Stock Number (NSN) Orders. Because they have to be individually labeled with NSN labels, built into master packs, labeled with MILSTD-129 Shipping labels with RFIDs, NSN orders are very time consuming and take a priority over everything else. On top of that, one of our DC guys got in an accident (not at work!) and broke his elbow, wrist and separated his shoulder So, while we were assembling orders and trying to get our mystery bags out, we had to take a pause and label/pack/ship NSN orders (well over 10,000 holsters and lights) this put us behind assembling and shipping mystery bags. We had shipped quite a few, put the project on hold and firmly believed we had enough stuff to make meaningful mystery bags. After we got the NSNs through our distribution center, we then turned our efforts back on the mystery boxes. We still thought we had enough stuff to make meaningful mystery boxes. It soon became apparent we did not. Sure we could have filled boxes up with triple frag grenade pouches and OD Green blower pouches, but even through they were $9.99/ea, we wanted them to be useful. Way too late, I pulled the plug with about 1/4 of the orders unfilled. So, there you have it. We made several mistakes (taking too many orders & waiting too long to cancel the orders) and somethings conspired against us (shipments for NSN orders arrived just after we kicked this off and one our our DC guys breaking his should, elbow and wrist). Sorry for the way it worked out; I genuinely felt bad about letting you guys down. David Hensley |

For people who aren't LEOs but want a Sig, are they out of luck for in stock purchases? Should they just order one to the store?

The store will be happy to order one for you from a commercial distributor, but I am not sure how price competitive we would be. If you find we are not price competitive, we would be happy to handle the transfer for you. |

Looking for FDE and OD green. Thanks QT |

Just wouldn't want someone to insult yall by having you transfer a gun that they could get in the store I think that just goes with the business. I've bought A LOT from QT, but when Anderson Lowers went on sale online for $39 with free shipping, I ordered several of them and did the transfer with QT, even though they sell them (or could get them). But again, they get a lot of my business, and I'm sure that situation is common. However, Bud's offers LE/First Responder guns to ALL VETERANS - not just Active/Reserve/Retired. QT does not. So when I get my next one, I really don't have much of a choice - it's a huge cost savings. |

Why such they panic buying on mags? Were people just worried about something that did not happen??

When demand like that happens, it is time to take them off sale until demand stabilizes. It doesn't do any good to sell all of our PMAGs in a day and have none left to sell. |

A question for QuanticoTactical:
I want to transfer an AR lower from the manufacturer (Rangetool), it's already paid for, I just need an FFL who will email Rangetool their FFL. Do you do that? If so, I'd love to give you some business! |
