Wife asked about pepper spray the other day.  She commutes to MD daily, so its her best option.  I guess the situation out in WA got her attention (where a campus security guard sprayed a lunatic shooter then subdued him).

Problem I see is:  like most people, she is likely to think:

possession = fully prepared.   That is the case at all.

I believe "mind set" is also required.  And she will need to hear it from an instructor for it to sink in.   I love her, but I also know her & she can be stubborn.


Anyone know of a course or even private instructor in NOVA?
