something along the lines of 1 and 9, have a feeling that all the detail in the others are gonna get washed out, keep it simple and possibly offer the format of 1 and 9 i any color you want like the bfl sticker from the online store

if some one can host a photo i will post a pic of number 9, i reverse engineer it and printed 3 abut 4x7 roughly..thats thebox size sticker is smaller..let me know. the others are great designs but not readable at speed. to much in a small space from my perspective

To correctly represent the Commonwealth use the precinct by precinct breakdown of the last Presidential Election. It is still primarily red.

There's always this Code from the same PDF referenced above:

Other Things Not to Do with the Flag

Out of respect for the U.S. flag, never:
• dip it for any person or thing, even though state flags, regimental colors and other
flags may be dipped as a mark of honor.
• display it with the union down, except as a signal of distress.
• let the flag touch anything beneath it: ground, floor, water, merchandise.
• carry it horizontally, but always aloft.
• fasten or display it in a way that will permit it to be damaged or soiled.
• place anything on the flag, including letters, insignia, or designs of any kind.
• use it for holding anything.
• use it as wearing apparel, bedding or drapery. It should not be used on a
costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be attached to the
uniform of patriotic organizations, military personnel, police officers and
firefighters.
use the flag for advertising or promotion purposes or print it on paper napkins,
boxes or anything else intended for temporary use and discard.

I guess I should amend my statement. Some people interpret it too broadly. Unless someone is cutting up actual U.S. flags and making ARFCOM stickers out of them, it isn't running afoul of the US Flag code.

I may be interpreting the code a bit literally but I am an American Flag purist.  I spent 5 years in the Navy aboard ship as a Signalman (SM) and my job was to know all things flags especially the U.S. Flag.  So if the HTF votes in one of the choices between 2 – 8 so be it.  I have voted and I have spoken up.

You missed the words "print it on paper napkins, boxes or anything intended for temporary use and discard". "It" being The Flag symbolically. "It" doesn't literally mean the cotton or nylon flag that would be on a pole. 'The flag' is any representation of the symbol and should not be used in any way to dishonor the symbol. Any sign of disrespect is found in The Flag Code' and should be adhered to.

That being said it never is. I find it... interesting that some of the most proclaimed patriotic Americans have The Flag, in symbol as a welcome mat at the entrance of their homes to wipe your feet on before entering. Also being that Baseball Season started last night in San Diego, the Padres, as always, as a sign of gratitude to The U.S. of A and her Veterans dressed in their Sunday norm Camouflage Uniforms. Unfortunately as is commonly done at the start of a lot of Baseball games unfurled in the outfield was a Flag that was displayed Horizontally, a sign of disrespect listed above, and was fashioned into the shape of the lower 48 states.

Interpret as you will. It boils down to disrespect at any level. If you read The Flag Code it plainly states with no interpretive value exactly what should never be done. The only interpretation is what "is" a Flag. If you need to know what the definition of the word "is" is, maybe you should confer with the Honorable William Jefferson Clinton and his staff of lawyers.

ETA: Until then I refuse to allow any disrespect to a Flag that is the symbol of our Nation or disrespect to a Flag of any other nation for that matter. If the choices are 2-8 you can count me out. JohnDoe297, You sir, may carry on.

For me, the more relevant criticism of the flag-based designs are that they will not be legible at speed on your vehicle from another vehicle.  Frankly, that doesn't bug me much, but it might bother others.  I have other stickers like that...and it will be perfectly legible on my toolboxes, gun safe, etc.  I suppose the best answer would be if we could get the top two choices made into stickers and have two options - red state and US flag.  That would make most folks happy.

Seeing the way the voting is going, I am now wishing that I spent more than just a couple of minutes on the red and blue state designs.  The red one could certainly be punched up a bit if folks think it is too plain.  e.g.,

Punched up a bit:

I am also hoping that it can be die cut in the shape of the state instead of being on a big rectangle.  I was pricing out die cut stickers and even for a run of just 50, the price is not too bad.  If they can't be die cut, than the peninsula could always be added to any of them.

Whatever the choice is, I have much higher resolution versions of the designs that I created for the printer if they are needed.

my offer still stands with permission I will print up fifty or so at no cost and mail to someone who will distribute I will do this as a courtesy to the hometown folks, Die cutting isnt a problem I do however not wish to use the flag unless it stands alone, respectfully love the design but the Flag is the Flag. If that is something mods will allow I will even ship to the ARF store if we add Cape Charles then it would have to be masked for install that adds to my cost but still willing to do a batch at no cost to see if their is interest. They can sell em to support the site let Va stand proud.. just let me know.. and to the designer you have some good skills i am not there yet I can print like a champ but design still learning....

Looks like 6 is pretty popular:

The standard spacing on that font is tight.  How do folks feel about spacing it out?

I also have an album of the latest version of most of them...as well as a couple of others that I have been playing with since I may just make a run of stickers on my own as well for myself and friends.  These two in particular (not in poll) are probably my current favorites...but I am definitely not suggesting we poll again:
