Occasionally OnTarget in Crystal Lakes hosts a sub machine gun event. Its pretty expensive, so I've always skipped it.
For the past couple years, Manticore Arms, has hosted a Bullpup Shoot event out in Mount Carroll, IL. The event is free and there is decent amount of full auto guns brought out by vendors. You pay for ammo, its very reasonable. Usually $10-$15 for a magazine. Manticore puts on a great event, and is a lot of fun. |

According to their web page http://calibergunrange.com in Waukegan sometimes has a machinegun shoot, most recently March 12
when http://www.northshoresportsclub.com opens(Lake Forest in May), they say on web page they will have them available for rent...

Darnalls west of Bloomington has done it in the past. not sure they do it on a regular basis

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I'm located in Lake County and go to Caliber on occasion. I can't believe I missed the submachine gun shoot on March 12th! Would love to get a chance to shoot FNH P90, B&T MP9, HK MP5 variants, etc.

Gat guns hosts a meet and great day where several manufacturers of the newest stuff are there to show off. Along with that is a try it gun shoot. Everything from revolvers to full auto ps90 it's not cheap but is a lot of fun
