That site is interesting to browse through now and then.  

I just cannot understand that they have not taken drastic measures like bringing in the National Guard.  I don't know if that would help but to everyday people it looks like nothing is being done.  I do know that CPD and the FBI are giving it a great effort, but the numbers aren't changing.  This weekend alone they had 7 dead and 48 wounded.  Law enforcement can only really come to the scene and write the report.

The whole mess has become a cultural issue, which police will never solve.  The high schools are full of pregnant girls who give birth to kids that are not raised properly.  The schools are like zoos.  I did some volunteer work which took me to a couple high schools.  There is not much teaching going on because it is like a free for all.  The behavior is terrible and on some days the fighting gets so bad they throw everybody out of the school for the day and lock the doors.

It amazes me that human beings can treat each other in such a horrible manner.  Last week they had a 15 year old boy that was put in a dumpster and burned alive.

The thing is, there are still some good people trapped in those neighborhoods.  They can't afford to move so they are stuck in that environment.  If it were me, I would rather move out and be homeless than to live there.
