Report your card lost through the link, and print out anything the site gives you indicating you did that. Keep a copy of it with you and hell....the photocopy probably wouldn't hurt.
It has a valid number on it which can easily be verified by LE. Your FOID will also be on file and able to be located with your name/DOB. In short, the physical card isn't the only way LE can verify you have a valid FOID. |

I carry a screenshot of the FOID ID number on my phone,,,,just in case.

Be reasonable and diligent with it (IE in reporting it lost and seeking a replacement) and you should be good to go in the interim. |

She kicked the ISP in the rear when my CCL was "under review" for an extended period of time after moving from one side and ZIP code of my town to the other. |
