Where do you guys shoot at down here?
There's a few expensive ranges, not sure I want to pay $200/yr to sit at a bench and not move anymore though. |

Carmi Rifle Club...I think it is $35 a year...nice little 25 and 100 yard range with covered shooting benches. carmirifleclub.com

Newman's Gun Club in Sesser. It's a hidden gem. It is $200 a year but that covers you and your family that lives with you. It is only a year old and me and my brother in law have been there twice in the last month. It has a rifle range that goes out to 350 yards with metal targets and 2 pistol bays also with metal targets. They have 3 gun comps there to from what the guy was telling me. Myself and my brother in law are going to get a membership come the first of the year. If you like to shoot and want a really nice place to do it, This is the place.

I visit Carbondale every few months and would love to go shooting with my brother at a 350 yard range. |
