Heck, yes, I know about it. That's why I buy my ammo out of the county (I live on the Cook/Lake border) or online. Haven't bought ammo in Crook in months.

Order online. It's cheaper before the tax anyway.

Can they tax all those dead people that vote, too?  I mean, if we're going to tax one right...

Informational....

What ammo companies will or will not  ship to Cook County?

Who do you think have the best deals?

palmetto state armory recently changed their policy to not ship to cook.

massammo.com and sgammo.com have both had some good deals and both ship to cook county.

I like LAXAmmo.com

Prices are good and they do ship to suburban Cook. They will NOT ship to Chicago.

They recently had a free shipping deal.

Has anyone bought ammo from Cabela's since the ammo tax has been imposed, and if so, is it figured into the price listed, or is it itemized on the receipt after purchase?
I will try not to buy in Cook Co., but if there's a sale/deal, I may look closer, at the over all cost.

I bought some 9mm at cabelas in hoffman estates yesterday. They have a lot of their ammo at 15% off. It will always be cheaper to buy online though.
