NICS = National Instant Criminal Background Check System
FTIP = Firearm Transfer Inquiry Program So where's the issue... The word "instant" or "inquiry"? Inquiring minds want to know. |

Did a request yesterday and it took about 5 seconds to get the approval back. Sometimes it is instant sometimes it's not. <shrug>
