Just so you all know:
CCW is OK at Bullpup Shoot. Longarms can be slung, muzzle down, unloaded, with a chamber flag in the action and carried around. We have done it in the past and it has worked out fine. We want shooters to feel welcome and these rules have worked well in the past for safety so we will continue this way. |

Can anyone give me an idea of what it will cost to fire the demo weapons?

Thompson M1928 45 ACP SMG (full auto) - $10/20rd stick mag .50 cal - $10/2 rounds PKM (full auto)- $10/50rd belt Last year was great, you pretty much paid for just the ammo not the use of the gun which is a great deal. Awesome experience imo, if you are thinking about going do it! |

$10 a go, which is typically 1-2 mags per gun. The $10 just covers the cost of ammo for the gun so the guys supplying the demo guns don't go broke. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I can't make it out Saturday, any other events going on with these sponsors or machine guns in IL this year?

My wife and I can't wait to make it to the shoot this year! We live ~15 minutes from the location it was held at last year at the Aurora Sportsman's Club, but, just couldn't make it due to work.
I think she might be more excited than me to shoot some of the FA demo guns! Our machine shop in Aurora did some work for the Kane County Sherriff when they were modernizing their Casspir. I missed checking it out when it was at the shop because someone accidentally deleted my entire MasterCam folder . I hope they offer the chance to shoot out of it again; that looks like a blast! Compare that to what you'd pay in Vegas or Hawaii or any other tourist area. |

I can't make it out there, but if any of you guys are thinking about it I can tell you the facility is pretty incredible. I would ask them to set up the steel movers if you can talk them into it. I know they have one on the long range rifle course. I did a class there this summer and shooting moving targets was a blast. If you need breakfast I would recommend Stella's Café in Stockton. I'm always happy I went. The Corner Tap in Stockton looks like a dive, but serves pretty good Chicago style pizza if you don't mind the long wait and a few red necks. ;) |

If I were to bring a video camera to film some of the event and share here, is that ok? Some ranges do NOT allow filming, others do. Figured I would ask before I bring it.

Ha! There I am. Forgot the sunglasses....
That Boba Fett Tavor was awesome. Kreb's Vz. 61 was the highlight for me. Ridiculously fun to shoot. And getting my wife on board with getting her a LH AUG. She was disappointed to find out how much a transferable Thompson was. My only regret was not bringing more cash for the $10 PMags....that was awesome Magpul donated them. The Annie Oakley print has a good home. |

Thanks again for giving us this experience! Looking forward to next year.
Who won the $500 credit from Steyr? We bought a couple of tickets hoping to cut down on the future purchase of a LH AUG for my wife. |
