Team, I live in Oregon.  I am looking at buying a car in Illinois, driving it back to and titling it in Oregon. Should I expect to pay Illinois sales tax on a used vehicle in Illinois?

no, but you will need what is called a drive away, temp il lic, basically.  usually 7 days I believe, go to a secretary of state office for info
