Yes. You should just have to show your MO Drivers License.
Whether or not the employees know that is another matter entirely. for the record, you'll usually get better pricing having it shipped to your home from other online sellers unless Gander Mountain is having a "doorbuster" sale. http://gun-deals.com/list/ammo/.22+LR |

Thanks thats what i thought, when a Gander opened in Fenton MO they had pallets of 22LR including stinger, and plinking stuff and not crazy prices, I got 2000 rounds but i have shot a lot of it in the last year lol

Good luck. I live here in IL and have an AZ ID (military). No one would sell me ammunition before I got a FOID, I tried Walmart, Rural King, LGS, even showed them my orders and military ID and no one would sell to me. I just buy online exclusively. I live 5 minutes from the new Gander Mountain and I will probably never buy ammunition there.

Sadly, while federal law allows it, our state has different ideas as codified in the FOID Act: (c) The provisions of this Section regarding the transfer of firearm ammunition shall not apply to those persons specified in paragraph (b) of Section 2 of this Act.

(a) Any resident of Illinois who has obtained a firearm owner's identification card pursuant to this Act and who is not otherwise prohibited from obtaining, possessing or using a firearm may purchase or obtain a rifle or shotgun or ammunition for a rifle or shotgun in Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin or Kentucky. (b) Any resident of Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin or Kentucky or a non-resident with a valid non-resident hunting license, who is 18 years of age or older and who is not prohibited by the laws of Illinois, the state of his domicile, or the United States from obtaining, possessing or using a firearm, may purchase or obtain a rifle, shotgun or ammunition for a rifle or shotgun in Illinois. While there is language in the preceding section "(c) The provisions of this Section regarding the transfer of firearm ammunition shall not apply to those persons specified in paragraph (b) of Section 2 of this Act" that only references "Nonresident hunters during hunting season, with valid nonresident hunting licenses", "Nonresidents while on a firing or shooting range recognized by the Department of State Police", "Nonresidents while at a firearm showing or display recognized by the Department of State Police", "Nonresidents whose firearms are unloaded and enclosed in a case" and "Nonresidents who are currently licensed or registered to possess a firearm in their resident state". IOW, Ill-annoys had FUBAR'ed what should be a simple thing. Again.
